Sew Like a Swashbuckling Legend

Click to tweet: clicktotweet.com Do you guys want to see more of these? Comment and let me know haha. I've gotten many requests to show some basics to sewing, so here's the first installment. This goes over the anatomy of a sewing machine and how to start and end a basic stitch. I know I didn't cover everything, but I hope it's enough to start some experience with any of us who are brand new to sewing =) The foot pedal is going to be a harder part to master. You need to get good foot control, just like when driving a car hehe. Don't expect yourself to become a superstar within a week. Just be patient, take deep breaths, stay calm, and try over and over again. I've had plenty of sewing bombs pop out of my sewing machine and huge moments of frustration haha. But when I make a mistake, I acknowledge that I still have much to learn, I take a deep breath, I make a note to avoid that mistake in the future, and I keep going. I'm cheering for you all! Be full of patience =)
